alehboston asked: Hey I'm in beauty school for the manicuring program as we speak, and I was wondering if you had any tips on how to better my nail art. I am a decent artist with a true passion for nail art. I view nails as a canvas, but I also enjoy the medical and health benefits a manicure can give. I know I should practice more often, but do you believe drawing will help me in any way?
Oh yeah. Definitely. I always draw a concept before I apply it to nails. In fact I keep a sketch book on designs im working on, patterns, or color combos that might be cool. The most important thing is that you have the passion. That’s key. If you like doing nail art the rest will come with time, practice, and patience. And remember sometimes designs work, and sometimes they don’t. Who cares! Sometimes the designs that don’t work give you an idea for a different design all together! Just keep at it.
The same but you know, different.
